Opening of the Rossignol Mémorial Center

From March 2, the Rossignol Memorial Center welcomes you on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On August 22, 1914, the village of Rossignol witnessed one of the deadliest days of the First World War. Thousands of soldiers perish in the French and German armies fighting that day. Civilians are also marked by this tragic episode of the war! Many inhabitants of Rossignol and neighboring villages will be shot by the Germans. A century later, the municipality of Tintigny undertook the establishment of a memorial interpretation center in Rossignol. Come and discover this essential place of memory.
