From the top of the rock, which isn’t so high, a beautiful and magnificent view looks over Petit Piton ford and then Martué ford, the Roman origins of which are unquestionable.The view to the west looks over the wooded mountains and the Froids-Vents farmhouse. A stone’s throw from Génifa, the Athus-Meuse railway line goes from Herbeumont forest to Saint-Médard, passing by the Les Épioux estate where Pierre Napoléon Bonaparte lived for a while, nephew of Emperor Napoleon I and son of Lucien Bonaparte.
